GospelSesh is for reading the four Gospels — Matthew, Mark, Luke and John — one passage at a time.

Reading

Choose a Gospel to begin. Scroll down to read the story; at the end of a passage, keep going to turn to the next. Swipe across a passage for Understand, a short note on its meaning and setting, and, where another Gospel tells the same event, for Other accounts.

Finding a passage

Search from the main menu or the chapter menu by name (“the prodigal son”), by familiar words (“our Father”), or by reference (“John 3:16”).

Bookmarks

While reading, choose the bookmark button at the top of the screen, next to Aa; choose it again to remove the bookmark. Your bookmarks appear on the main menu and in the chapter menu (choose the chapter name at the top), where × removes one. The share button beside it sends a link to the passage.

Text size, appearance and translation

Choose Aa at the top of the page to change the text size, switch between light and dark, show verse numbers, or change translation. While reading, the chapter name at the top also lets you switch translation and keep your place. GospelSesh offers the King James Version and the World English Bible.

Your place

GospelSesh remembers where you are in each Gospel on this device. To start a Gospel again, choose Aa and then “Start again”.
